{Happenings!!!}

I am super duper with sugar on top excited about my new logo for the Etsy shop & the blog!  I hope you like it!!!  I wanted to go with something elegant yet whimsy & fun.

I have been so busy over here working on some new, fun designs!  I am planning to launch 5 new designs in the shop by April 1st!  No, that isn't an April Fool's joke - I really am!!!  They are fun!

Well, one of the things I have been waiting to do, I FINALLY accomplished!  I added the blog to "Tip Me Tuesday" over at Tip Junkie!

I am so excited to be able to share {Olivia's 1 Birthday} with more pretty faces!  Go on over to this awesome blog Tip Junkie.  Laurie is one creative lady and full of fun craft, party & just general ideas!  I am addicted to her blog & am especially in love with these precious Bird's Nests sweets!  I was really excited when these came up on her fun blog!  check them out, I am making them for a spring tea I am doing!  More pics to come...

{Olivia's sweet 1st Birthday!} - it was a real Hoot!

Thank you! Thank you!  Thank you! is what I have to say to everyone that helped make {Olivia's 1st Birthday} a success!  Can I just say that everything you read and everyone you talk to will try and convince you to keep it small but I fully recommend having ALL of your loved ones around you to celebrate this special time! 

The photos turned out just smashing thanks to one of my besties - Melanie - love ya girl and thank you for celebrating with us and documenting this special day!

For our favors we decided to do Sixlets candies.
have you ever had sixlets?  they have been one of my absolute favorites for a long time!
Needless to say they looked like polka dots & tasted "O So Good"
they were the perfect gift!

"Thanks for making my party a Hoot" was on the favor tags by So Lovely Events along with our sweet little owl that was carried throughout the party!

Welcome to So Lovely Tea Room & Events!!!

I am so excited to FINALLY be starting down the path I feel led...

Please step through the door of my dream & let me share with you all things lovely, all things pretty & all things tea room!

My daughter Olivia turned 1 this past Sunday so of course we HAD to have a party for her!  This couldn't be a small party because that just isn't how we do it so we planned and planned and planned and I am so excited to share with you in the days to follow {Olivia's 1st Birthday Party} - it was a real Hoot!

I want to start off by sharing with you a beautiful Ruffly Felt Rosette Wreath that I just knew I had to make when I came across it on one of my "Lovely Blogs" - Inspiring Reads & Funny Thoughts - Kristy Ramsey is one of the most creative people I know and I am sure I will mention her again but first I want to thank her for introducing me to this lovely wreath!  If you LOVE this picture you can make this wreath!
